Were from 11 to 17 April, the first time in Krasnaya Polyana. Even though it's off season, there are a lot of people. We checked in late in the evening, there was a queue, but not critical - we stood for 30 minutes. Although with children, of course, it was annoying to stand, they could come up with something. Half of the reception did not work immediately, while some of the remaining counters simply closed - our working day was over, and the queue increased. We found our building, apartments, settled in. Impressed immediately. Nice, spacious, clean room with two bedrooms and a large living room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and it is quite large and comfortable. The beds in each bedroom were single beds pushed together. Children are fine, but my wife and I are not comfortable. Understanding is not realistic - you will spend time, you will not achieve your goal. Everyone is constantly relaxed, but at the same time polite - such a rastaman management. We, they say, have almost 100% occupancy, we can’t offer anything, well, what are you? well, be patient! and smile. When we checked in, in the huge building in which the reception is located, the fire alarm was screaming at the top of its voice with calls to leave the hotel. Of course, we all exchanged glances, and those around us, including security, hotel staff and residents, did not even notice this sound. In general, there was a feeling that only our group of visitors heard it. Then everything calmed down and as if nothing had happened. Well, who will win this country?)) Then, during the week of stay, there were a couple of times in neighboring buildings like this, and, as before, no one paid attention to it. The room has a kitchen, which really makes life easier. Microwave with grill, but not working, addressed, listened politely, but no one came. The dishes were the most necessary, but the sets were not complete, but it was enough for us. The TV in the room is super - HD picture quality, a lot of channels, and sports and movies. And the coolest thing is webcams from the streets around and from the ski slopes of the city's hill itself. You can see the weather, the amount of snow, fog on the highway, rain on the street. They promised to clean up every third of the day of stay - no one ever came. But they smiled. Rastafarians... In short, we cleaned ourselves and generally tried not to litter. The kitchen has a built-in dishwasher, which unrealistically makes life easier not only at home, but now also on vacation. There is no washing machine. Now it's outside. There is a playground in the courtyard, the children liked it, then they found a cool playground behind the building, while it is covered, that is, children can play there in the rain if they get tired of sitting in the room and going to water parks. The yard, like everything around, is beautiful, spacious, clean. In general, living in a slide city is pleasant and convenient: grocery stores and not only nearby, a pharmacy, too, ATMs, in general, everything is at hand, bank cards are accepted everywhere. The ski lift is nearby, rentals are nearby, cafe-restaurants - everything is here. I wanted to go skiing on Rosa Khutor - I got on a bus and went there for 23 rubles.

  This is much more than just a ski resort. People come here to relax and have fun all year round. And skiing can be a nice addition to the overall program, but not the main goal.

  Ski resort "Gorki Gorod"

  The resort can be conditionally divided into two parts. One - "Gorki Gorod" +540 - is located at an altitude of 540 meters above sea level. Its other part - "Gorki Gorod" +960 - respectively, at an altitude of 960 meters. They are connected to each other by a cable car and a road.

  In the "Lower City" there are two hotels and the main apart-complexes, SPA-complexes, sports facilities, a shopping gallery, a congress center, gourmet restaurants, playgrounds, and an indoor water park. Entertainment is mainly concentrated in this part of the resort, and therefore "Gorki Gorod" +540 is more suitable for fun and outdoor activities.

  The "Upper City" to some extent resembles the resort settlements of the Mediterranean. It offers high-class apartments, 7 hotels with 996 rooms, a huge SPA center (9000 square meters). This part of the resort was chosen by those who prefer comfort, peace and solitude on vacation.

  

  Those who love skiing and mountains are attracted here, first of all, by the Mountain Carousel. The complex is located on the territory of the resort in the village of Esto-Sadok on the slopes of the mountains.

  Mountain Karusel is 27 kilometers of the best ski slopes, which, according to snowboard and ski lovers, are in no way inferior to European slopes. The height at which the tracks are located ranges from 960 to 1460 meters. Different in complexity: "red" and "black", "green" and "blue" - they are available for skiing for both experienced and beginner skiers.

  Last season, additional pistes and illuminated pistes for evening skiing were opened in the eastern sector of the resort. And if there is a problem with snow, it is easy to solve with the help of snow cannons, which make the slopes of the mountains ideal at night. The use of artificial snow is a guarantee that mountain slopes and skiers will not be left without snow under any circumstances. And the winter season, as expected, will last until the very end of April.

  

  On the slopes of the mountains (transfer "steps" are at an altitude of 960 m, 1459 m and 2200 m) skiers are delivered by 12 chair lifts and gondola lifts. The ascent on each section of the cable car is on average up to 15 minutes. And it will take a little more than an hour to get from the launch pad (altitude 540 meters) to the Circus-3 zone (the farthest point).

  The resort offers ski equipment rental. Instructors are always ready to give lessons and conduct a master class for beginner skiers.

  Little guests are taken care of here. For them, under the guidance of trained children's instructors, skiing and snowboarding lessons were organized at the children's ski school. For children's skiing, special slopes have been created, the ascent to which is carried out in safe lift cabins.
