Every year, for many people who are fond of skiing and snowboarding, only a few questions become urgent: where is the best track, the most beautiful landscape, the cleanest air and sane infrastructure? Our magazine Big Rating has prepared for you the best ski resorts in the world, placing them in the list from tenth to first place, so that you can evaluate and choose the most relevant resort for you.

Meribel (France)

On the tenth position is Meribel - a French resort. There are many different tracks, they differ in the level of difficulty. Imagine the picturesque scenery of the French Alps. Exactly, you find yourself in such a fairy tale if you are relaxing in Meribel. This resort is suitable for both lovers of a well-groomed track, and for those who prefer to go down the virgin lands. More than 150 kilometers - the length of all the tracks of the French resort.

Chamonix (France)

On the ninth line is Chamonix. This is another ski resort in the heart of the French Alps. This is one of the most popular resorts in Europe, which is preferred by skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. "White Valley" is a legendary virgin land, for those who prefer off-piste skiing, here you can break in more than 20 kilometers of surface. Well-developed infrastructure, however, does not affect the picturesque landscapes of nature resorts. The total length of all the slopes of the resort is more than 170 kilometers.

Zell am See, Kaprun (Austria)

Eighth place was taken by a resort located in Austria, called Zell am See, Kaprun. This resort will give you all the benefits of high quality skiing and amazing service at a fraction of the price. Many skiers gave another unspoken name to this resort "European Sports Region". The Kaprun glacier is famous for the fact that you can ride on it all year round, there is always snow on its slopes. You can try out any of the 58 available trails, their total length is over 130 kilometers.

Zermatt (Switzerland)

The seventh line was left for the picturesque resort of Zermatt, which is located in Switzerland. The total length of all tracks is 200 kilometers, in summer more than 21 kilometers of them are available for skiing. The resort has its own unique attraction, the highest lift station - Klein Materhorn (3885 meters). Since Zermatt is located among three Alpine peaks: Dom, Monte Rosa and Mattrehorn, one can only imagine what landscapes open up there. This resort is environmentally friendly and no cars are allowed.

Whistler Blackcomb (Canada)

In sixth position is the Canadian Olympic region Whistler-Blackcomb. This resort was the first in Canada, in its entire history. The slopes for skiing can compete with the most developed ski resorts on the planet. The most popular way to get to virgin lands is by helicopter flight. For those who are just starting to ski or snowboard, the resort offers ski school services. If we evaluate the resort by the development of service complexes, then it is at a very decent level.

Aspen (USA)

In the middle of the list is the well-known Aspen ski resort, which is located in the United States. The beautiful, vast and picturesque landscapes of this resort will delight not only with its appearance, but also with well-groomed trails, the total length of which is more than 200 kilometers. Aspen is four independent slalom plateaus. This resort includes Snowmass, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands and Aspen Mountain. All these zones are connected by roads, along which buses for tourists constantly travel. Not only ski infrastructure is developed here, but there is also a whole amusement park.

St. Moritz (Switzerland)

On the fourth position of the list is the ski resort of St. Moritz, which is located in Switzerland. This resort is the choice of aristocrats, one of the most expensive and best resorts in the Alps. This is the resting place of the royal family, politicians, billionaires and pop stars. The high price does not become an obstacle to visits; more than a million people visit this ski resort every year. A special place for lovers of ski slopes is the Korvatsch peak, which is 3.3 kilometers high. The length of all the slopes of the resort is 350 kilometers.

Val d'Isère (France)

The bronze of our list of ski resorts goes to Val d'Isère, which is located in France. He and the ski resort of Tignes Val d'Isère, are part of the famous Espace Killy area, which is a Mecca for skiers and snowboarders. 300 kilometers of well-maintained pistes - that's what Val d'Isère has to offer. Off-piste skiing is always a dangerous activity, but this ski resort is known for having some of the safest downhills that are not officially part of the Val d'Isère roads.

St. Anton (Austria)

Silver, by right, belongs to the ski resort of St. Anton, which is located in Austria. It was here, for the first time, in 1922 that the first ski school was opened, which still exists today. Near this ski resort, there are the most expensive hotels in Austria. If you are an experienced snowboarder or skier, you will love St. Anton. Beginners will have a little more difficulty, there are not so many ski areas for beginners. The total length of all routes is 276 kilometers. It is here that there is a stunning huge virgin lands, descending on which is a real pleasure. There are five ski schools in St. Anton. There is also a park for snowboarders Rendl Beach - a real paradise for lovers of extreme slalom, there are many jumps, half-pipes that are needed to perform various tricks.

Lech (Austria)

The gold of our list goes to the Lech ski resort, which is located in Austria. It is located on the territory of the Arlberg, a region located in the west of Austria. Arlberg is the best ski resort in the world with more than 276 kilometers of pistes. Here you can meet both ordinary skiing enthusiasts and politicians and world-class stars. There are many different tracks that will appeal to both professionals and beginners in skiing. Lech is covered with snow all season, so the slopes are suitable for skiing all season, which is why Austria is considered the world center of skiers. From year to year, this resort is getting better and better, so the National Geographic channel awarded it the title of the best ski resort in the world.

Enthusiasts and fans of skiing are looking for the best routes for the trip of their dreams. To help them, ELLE has selected ten relatively inexpensive resorts in the mountains.

Arc 1950 - an adequate alternative to the bohemian and expensive Meribel and Courchevel - is one of the top three ski resorts in France. The cozy village is easily accessible from the airports of Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry. Then you can take a taxi or rent a car, which you will leave in the underground parking of the resort with direct access to the apartments. For a particularly demanding public, there is an option with a helicopter transfer.

The concept of Ark 1950 is the absence of "extra" vehicles. That is, cars do not drive around the town. But skiers and snowboarders can move throughout its territory. Holidaymakers willingly go on foot or practice "skating from the door" - they go down the slope on skis straight to apartments, cafes and shops. This option gives an incomparable ski holiday experience and maximum comfort.

Arc 1950 is the youngest of the four Les Arcs. It was built 10 years ago and is still considered the best access point to the "ski paradise" (Paradiski) - the second largest ski area in the world at the foot of the Vanoise National Park. The scope of this resort is impressive: 144 lifts with dozens of slopes with a total length of 425 km and a height of up to 3250 m. There are routes for both beginners and pros (there is even a bobsleigh track and a halfpipe).

Thrill-seekers will find skijoring (skiing behind a horse), a snowmobile ride, high-speed sledding and a 20-minute helicopter flight, where you can “check in” at a bird's eye view immediately in Italy, France and Switzerland.

PHOTO Pat Dion

Arc 1950 is called "a cocoon on top of the mountains" - for the atmosphere of comfort and peaceful landscape overlooking Mont Blanc. The apartments (3900 beds) are Pierre&Vacances Premium. This means that in any of the residences you are guaranteed a comfortable stay with access to relaxation areas, pools, saunas and the Deep Nature Spa on an area of 1000 sq.m.

The resort lives a busy life and invariably gives a sense of celebration and a fabulous mood for the whole family. Every day, bright performances, shows and concerts are organized for guests.

There are enough pleasant après-ski options for everyone, the main thing is to choose the right accent. A romantic evening at the Le Mazot restaurant with a glass of red or unbridled fun until the morning in dozens of bars (for example, Les Belles Pintes or O'Chaud) - in any case, you will not be bored.

Chamonix is the oldest ski resort (more than 200 years old), the largest (more than 10 thousand local people live here) and the most famous resort of the French Alps. Its peculiarity is that people do not come here not only in winter, but also in summer - the city and its surroundings are ideal for activities such as golf, hiking, mountain biking and walks in the picturesque surroundings.

By the way, it was here that the first ever Winter Olympic Games were held in 1924. It lies at the very foot of the Mont Blanc peak, in the east of France, in the department of Haute-Savoie (the historical region of Savoie).

Chamonix has a unique geographical location: it is located in a valley at an altitude of 1010 - 1200 m at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe, and you can ride while in France, Italy (Courmayeur resort) or Switzerland (Vallorcine). Chamonix is called the “patriarchal resort” and a resort with an ideal reputation, because it is no coincidence that all the canons of ski holidays were laid here. In addition, Chamonix is unique in that tourists of various social levels rest here, since there are conditions for young people who prefer extreme sports and for a respectable public.

Considered the historical capital of skiing, the resort is located at an altitude of 1035 meters, but almost 90% of all ski slopes are above 2000 meters. From the center of Chamonix, you can take the highest funicular in Europe directly to the top of the Aiguille du Midi (3842 m), where extreme people descend along the famous "White Valley" (Vallee Blanche) - a 22-kilometer descent through the glaciers. Tourists at an altitude of almost 4000 meters are entertained by the Step into the Void (Pas Dans Le Vide) attraction, offering to step into a space with a transparent bottom over the abyss itself.

The resort is open all year round - in the summer, hiking, mountain biking and walking along the streets of the picturesque city are practiced here. In addition to many decent hotels of different star categories and apartments, Chamonix also offers luxurious formats - for example, the Montblanc Hotel is a real gem of the city. The hotel has a famous gastronomic restaurant Matafan for the most demanding gourmets. The Savoyard cuisine of the region can be tasted in cafes and restaurants of Chamonix - for example, Telecabine or Bistrot.

According to legend, Megeve arose thanks to the efforts of the Rothschild family, who wanted to set up a closed elite resort for their own in the most picturesque place in the French Alps. Over time, Megeve gained wide popularity, and today you can find a variety of accommodation options here - from luxurious chalets like le Chalet Du Mont D "Arbois, where a chef who received two Michelin stars prepares for a respectable audience in a legendary Michelin restaurant in 1920, to relatively democratic, but the cozy chalets of the Loges Blanches complex, each of which has its own name. For golf lovers, Megeve will become a real paradise - the luxurious courses of le Golf du Mont d'Arbois are considered among the best in the world.

Megeve is one of the world's most picturesque ski resorts, located in the historic region of Haute-Savoie. Like Chamonix, the city is beautiful in both summer and winter. In its center there is a pedestrian zone with cobbled streets, ancient architecture, churches of the 13th century. and numerous cafes and restaurants. By the way, it is Megeve that is considered the place with the reference Savoyard cuisine. So, in the very center of the city, restaurants such as Chamois offer specialties such as raclette (self-melted Swiss cheese with meat and vegetables). If you go out of the city, you can get into amazing atmospheric places. For example, Le Refuge is a wooden house with a huge terrace overlooking the mountains and spruce-fir forests. The rustic-style restaurant practices a very original serving - large portions are prepared as real gastronomic masterpieces. For example, strawberries are stewed with cottage cheese and served with milk foam and almond meringue.

Summer activities in Megeve are as diverse as winter activities - first of all, hiking and golf. By the way, the golf courses here are just a reference - it is not for nothing that professionals choose this region for competitions, and amateurs and beginners - as one of the main activities during their holidays.

There are three ski areas in the Megeve resort: Rochebrune-Cote, Mont-d'Arbois and Le Jay. The maximum height of the slopes is relatively small (2350 m). It is good for beginner skiers and those who prefer family vacations. Like Chamonix, Megeve is included in the most prestigious association of the best resorts Best of the Alps (BOTA).

By the way, as in the case of Arc and Chamonix, the most convenient way to get to Megeve is from Geneva airport - fortunately, the convenience of SWISS airline flights allows you to plan a trip both in summer and in winter. By the way, members of the SWISS Golf Traveler program enjoy valuable privileges not only in everyday life, but also on golf courses in the region. For example, free transportation of golf equipment to exclusive trips and a series of tournaments for members.

Pas de la Casa, the highest mountain resort in the Pyrenees, is located on the border with France. This is Andorra's first ski resort: it will turn 60 next year. Pas de la Casa are two magical valleys with a wide variety of trails, perfectly groomed slopes and an incredible number of cannons to keep the snow cover. This cover has an amazing feature - even if the thermometer shows +10, the snow remains dry and very slippery.

Each guest of the resort will find a suitable track for himself. Those in the upper part of the valleys will delight seasoned skiers, they are more difficult. At the foot of the mountain it will be comfortable to ride for those who cannot call themselves a virtuoso. There is also a slalom track, and a "corral" for snowboarders, and the opportunity to ride at night. The kids won't be bored either. The little ones will have a great time in the nursery, older children in the garden under the supervision of teachers who, if desired, will teach the kids the basics of skiing. Ski pass will cost adults 45 euros per day. More than bearable.

The Otztal Valley is home to the highest Austrian resorts. Sölden does not break altitude records, but he has something to be proud of. Firstly, this is one of the most popular ski centers in Europe, in addition, a Mecca for snowboarders. Secondly, it is in Selden that competitions for the World Cup are held. Glaciers, hills, mountains - everything is very clearly and conveniently arranged, neat, varied. You can ride on the glaciers all year round, the actual season starts in December and ends in April. The price of a ski pass for adults per day is 50 euros.

Once on the North American continent, any self-respecting skier will go to Whistler, which is a few hours drive from Vancouver. Whistler rightfully bears the title of the snow capital of the world: the height of the cover is more than nine meters (to be precise, 914 centimeters). Not surprisingly, this is where the Winter Olympics (2010) were held. The scale of the resort itself, its diversity, experts rate it at four, but they go there not for the scope, but just for the snow. Go there in February and you will be happy. Ski pass for adults per day - 75 USD.

For champions and masters of the highest standard, the Sierra Nevada is not very suitable, for the rest - just right. The resort is located in the south of Spain, and when the weather is fine (and this happens often), you can see the Mediterranean Sea and even Morocco, more precisely the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. It is, of course, unforgettable. The Sierra Nevada is full of slopes for every taste, but the resort town itself is modest in size, and is of no interest to shoppers. But there is an abundance of shops for obsessed skiers, dozens of cafes and a few of our compatriots. Ski pass for adults per day - 45 euros.

It is, as they say, a place of power. A fashionable place where people come not just to ride, but also to have a good time. It is easy to guess that local shops sell not only equipment, and nightclubs do without lectures on ski topics. In Madonna di Campiglio they light up from morning to night, but they also ride from the heart. The trails here are for every taste, and more for a relaxed, non-professional skiing. Almost half of the 150 kilometers of trails are just for beginners, the other half are for average craftsmen, and a little bit is given to virtuosos. The latter are rare in Madonna di Campiglio. To each, as they say, his own.

Prices, despite the fashionable status of the resort, are very tolerable - from 41 euros for a ski pass in the low season, up to 47 euros - in the high season.

The winter capital of the country is located in the south of Poland. Guests are attracted not only by the slopes and rides, but also by the fantastic local national flavor, the charm of which is impossible to resist. The highest point is almost two kilometers: it is the Kasprowy Wierch mountain, the steepest, but also the most numerous. The length of slopes in Zakopane reaches 30 kilometers, for cross-country skiers - 50 kilometers.

By the way, if Kasprowy Wierch seems too high-altitude for you, feel free to move to the slopes of Nosal, crammed with lifts, parking lots, and a cable car. There is also Gubałówka, famous for its funicular, and, of course, for its amazing view of the Tatras. Ski pass for adults per day - 16 dollars. Laughter, and nothing more.

It is not necessary to be an expert in skiing to appreciate all the delights of outdoor activities in the winter season. Snow crunching underfoot, bright sun, clean mountain air - for this it is worth leaving a gassed and dusty metropolis behind for a week or two, going on an adventure. However, during the crisis, the price of ski tours becomes especially relevant. Especially for our readers, we have compiled the top 10 most inexpensive ski resorts in the world, which will allow the whole family to relax and not hit the budget too hard.

And what about Russia, you ask? And in our country there are places where you can ski cheaply. We will immediately warn you that you will not find Sochi ski resorts in the article. Of course, the ski centers of the Olympic capital are rightfully called one of the best in the world, but their price is corresponding. However, in addition to them there are excellent ski resorts.

Ski center Abzakovo is one of the largest ski resorts in Russia. This season, Abzakovo is also considered the best skiing center, which will appeal to both professionals and beginners.

The resort is located in the Southern Urals, which is increasingly compared to Switzerland. It offers tourists 15 tracks of various lengths and levels of difficulty, 4 slopes for slalom and giant slalom, as well as the only snowmaking system in Russia, thanks to which you can ride from the beginning of November to the end of May.

Every year, the national teams of Russia in biathlon, triathlon and cross-country skiing come here for recovery camps, which speaks of the quality of local infrastructure and decent service.

Amazingly beautiful landscapes, clean mountain air, many non-freezing mineral springs and, of course, snow-capped peaks make the Elbrus region a paradise where you want to escape after the hustle and bustle of dusty megacities to relax your mind and body.

The main ski areas are the slopes of Elbrus and Cheget. The first has six tracks that are perfect for beginners. There are 15 slopes on the slopes of Cheget, some of which are considered to be among the most difficult in the world and will only be conquered by a professional with nerves of steel and excellent training.

  • By the beginning of the season, the minimum price for accommodation is 1800 rubles per day
  • A daily lift pass will cost 850 rubles
  • Renting a ski kit will cost 500 rubles per day for an adult and 250 rubles per day. - for a child (up to 9 years old)

When we are going to the Alps, we are no longer afraid to choose any resorts we like - in winter, we can confidently fly to each of the resorts, get there, and find suitable accommodation. Moreover, European resorts offer an amazing selection of huge ski areas, which not every skier can go around in a week. But if you are a real skier, then when listing the names below, you wake up with a desire to wait for winter as soon as possible and go to one of these magnificent resorts.

So, the 10 largest in the world. Go!

Three Valleys, France

Three Valleys - these are the three main ski resorts - Courchevel (1760 m), Meribel (1450 m) and Val Thorens (2300 m). It is curious that the name Courchevel 1850 is not true - the resort is so named to compete with Val d'Isère and in fact it is located at an altitude of 1760 m.

Courchevel is the most expensive ski resort in the world. Hotels and chalets are mostly only 4-5 *. The cost of expensive chalets for the New Year's week can reach up to 200 thousand euros and more. But if you rest a little lower at an altitude of 1550 m or 1650 m, then you can quite find an acceptable accommodation for a less expensive vacation. The first week of January in Courchevel is called the “Russian New Year”. Well, it is clear why, you can not even explain. Do you want to participate? No problem, save your wallet!

Meribel is a very large resort, it has a huge number of French chalets so beloved by all, which can accommodate a company. Feature - restaurants prevail not with French, but with European food. Méribel 1450 is a bit small for spring skiing, but on New Year's Eve everything should be OK.

Val Thorens is the highest mountain resort in Europe and competes with Tignes and Flaine for the title of the most inhospitable resort in the world. But this makes Val Thorens even cooler - it stands on the slopes and it does not matter at all that there are no old promenade streets in it! But the atmosphere of a ski holiday is one of the best in France.

Space Killy, France

It consists of two main resorts - Val d'Isère (1850 m) and Tignes (2100 m) with the Grand Monte glacier.
Val d'Isère is a combination of classy hotels and chalets with excellent restaurants. It is located close to the highways. The resort is expensive. The nightlife is in full swing. A bit unsuitable for beginners - the slopes are difficult, for those who like the thrill of speed.
Tignes - well, scary, of course, but there are some cool hotels in Le Lac, not many chalets. But in Val Clara - a huge selection of apartments and apartments for inexpensive and even rich accommodation. But, the presence of a glacier makes this resort one of the best in the world at the beginning and at the end of the season!
We really enjoy skiing in the Killy Space - for those who ski well, this is the best choice in Europe!

Paradiski, France

One of the most interesting skiing regions. Consists of two large resorts - La Plagne and Les Arcs. They are interconnected by the grandiose two-story cable car Vanua Express. It is quite difficult to ski all the slopes of this region in a week, but for real skiers this, of course, is not a problem.
The stations were built during the heyday of building houses made of concrete and glass. The main advantage of this region is the possibility of inexpensive accommodation combined with great skiing! And, of course, Les Arcs - 1950 - an upscale five-star ski village with a very convenient location. In this region there is an ednik, which means you can start skiing in the fall and finish skiing in late spring.
La Plagnie is quieter than Les Arcs, has less nightlife, and a rather vague hotel layout. But calmer skiing and also very wide trails.

Porte du Soleil, France

This is a whole collection of 13 resorts that are connected into a single ski area. The region is close to the Franco-Swiss border and just an hour's drive from Geneva. The main resorts are Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets. Skiing between the villages, you enjoy a ski safari and in one of the Swiss villages of Morgins you can taste world-class chocolate along with your morning tea! Along the way, there are a huge number of upscale mountain huts for relaxation with restaurants and panoramic views of the Alps, Lake Geneva and Geneva.

The only downside to this ski area is its height. When there is a lot of snow, it is not felt, but by the third week of March, the tracks are already quite spoiled by the sun and spring. And this is not a problem either, because there is the legendary Mutzig beer!
Perfect - short transfer from Geneva, ski safari and night bars in Morzine. Although après-ski is rather weak, and Avoriaz is a 30-minute drive away.

Avoriaz - more snow and closer to the sun!

Ski Welt, Austria

Well, finally, the first Austrian resort in our series. But what!
The region is low, but one of the most equipped with snow cannons in Europe. The number one lowest price resort in the Austrian Alps. A large number of inexpensive hotels and apartments. It is in Söla that stunning views from the slopes passing through spruce forests and beautiful shelves, when it is difficult to look away from the fabulous Tyrolean landscapes! Yes, it is the beauty and ease of skiing, combined with very affordable accommodation, that makes this region the number 1 competitor to all of the above. Because the friendly après-ski, combined with the hospitality of the hotel and apartment owners, raise this resort to an all-time high on our list!

Arlberg, Austria

The main resorts are located in the skiing region - St. Anton, St. Christoph, Lech and Zürs. The ski area in the region is quite intricate and difficult, there are narrow slopes that you would not advise for beginners. But since 2016, the new Flexenbahn cable car between Zürs and Stuben has closed the loop, creating a unique ski safari track for skiing and enjoyment. St. Anton is the birthplace of skiing, the oldest resort in the world.

Sankt Anton is a fantastic town! The après ski bars Mooserwirt and Krazy Kangaruh are legendary. St. Anton is a difficult skiing for professionals. Easier - Leh. Leh is a chic skiing area, where it is very beautiful and every beginner can feel like a real professional!

Breoul-Cervinia - Zermatt, Italy, Switzerland

Legendary and one of the most popular ski areas in Europe. Zermatt on the Swiss side is magnificent, glamorous, with a stunning aura of antiquity and high cost. On the Italian side - Cervinia - cheerful locals, a rather chaotic jumble of hotels, queues for lifts, but a surprisingly fun après-ski!

No matter where you are, your attention will be on the Matterhorn. This is the most famous mountain in the world. All the best restaurants in Zermatt look at the Matterhorn. And you will find it hard to take your eyes off the Matterhorn, even at lunch and dinner.
Top quality hotels in Zermatt, classic 19th century style combined with modernity. A city without cars, with horses and carriages, with small electric cars.
The highest ski point in the Alps - 3900 meters!

From the side of Cervinia is the longest track with a length of 22 kilometers! Cervinia - combination of reasonable prices in hotels, inexpensive food with excellent skiing near the Matterhorn. We love Cervinia!

Milky Way, Italy, France

An impressive ski area located along the border of Italy and France - Souse Doule, Sestriere, Montgenevre - the most famous and main resorts of this ski area. Suz Dool is very popular with those looking for cheap accommodation and has many bars and restaurants along the unpaved streets. This is a cheerful and noisy resort, where there are a lot of young people. Sestriere is the highest mountain listed and hosted the 2006 Olympic Games.
Montgenevre is very beautiful, an old resort, the first French ski school was born in it, and in 1907 it hosted the first ski starts. the resort is famous for its restaurants - food and wine with real French charm.
Slightly slow ski lifts in the region, otherwise very good!

Sella Ronda, Italy

When you see the avenues of this region, the figure of 1300 km of tracks is a bit misleading. Of course, there are these kilometers, but not all of them are connected by lifts, some have to be reached separately. And yet, the most famous ring in Europe is the Sella Ronda. From it, as from the metro ring line, you can start along the radius to nearby resorts. The coziest, the most fabulous and the most popular is the Selva. Located on the Sella Ronda, well accessible and convenient to start in the region. Cortina Dampezzo is very popular, but it is conditionally associated with Sella Ronda and is not associated with any other resorts.
Of course, the main thing in the Dolomites is their beauty. Nothing compares to…. And so on. We like to ride clockwise Sella Ronda because there are at least some black slopes, and in the opposite direction you can only go to admire nature and enjoy the company.
Very little off-piste.

Chamonix, France

Chamonix is a city, Chamonix is a ski resort. Chamonix is the center of world extreme sports. Chamonix is at the foot of Mont Blanc. If you climb the Agui du Midi, you will discover amazing secrets of love for the Alps, including skiing in the White Valley (22 km of unprepared slopes) and the view of Maublant! Every self-respecting skier should go down this route and bring their adult children here to ski.
Chamonix - this five ski areas, 300 km of slopes. The most famous are Brevent-Fléges, Grand Motte, Valley Blanche (White Valley). The most interesting area for skiing prepared slopes - Grande Motte, 20 minutes by bus from the center of Chamonix. This is the largest, highest and steepest region, one of the best of its kind.
Chamonix is a lovely and beloved resort that you want to return to. I must say that the ski pass is the same for this region with the nearby resorts of Megeve and the Swiss Verbier - plus one day of skiing both there and there. So, ride on health, let's go!

So what's the best?
I think it's Three Valleys, France.
