Name Indochina formed by the French from the words “India” and “China,” since Europeans saw both Indian and Chinese features in the inhabitants of the peninsula.

Indochina is a peninsula of Southeast Asia. Area about 2 million. km 2 .

Thailand, Cambodia, most of the territory of Burma, Malaysia, Laos and Vietnam, and a small part of the state of Bangladesh are located on the territory of Indochina.

We organize and personally conduct tours in 4 countries of Indochina - Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Burma, including combined tours from visiting several countries of Indochina in one trip.

The Laos-Cambodia (or vice versa) jeep tour is very popular, allowing you to get acquainted with the cultural and historical heritage of French Indochina in one trip.

At your request, we can organize any combined tours within the Indochina Peninsula.

Cambodia- this is a real treasure for travel lovers and explorers of the unknown.

Here, ancient temples hide giant vines, and their stones keep the secrets of the past, permeating everything around with the echo of the Forerunners of the era of mankind. The largest temple complex in the world, the ancient Angkor, was found in Cambodia.

The temples of Angkor stretch over more than 800 square kilometers. Many of them have not yet been explored by archaeologists due to their remoteness from tourist routes.

As part of an individual tour Through the Angkor Archaeological Park and Tonle Sap Lake you will see most of the most significant monuments of the mysterious Angkor civilization in a comfortable car, along a special route and schedule, avoiding collisions with other tourist groups..

Our Cambodia tours do not have a single template and are adapted according to the wishes and capabilities of the customer.

Individual tours in Cambodia will change your idea of the temples of Angkor.

We will show you non-tourist places hidden in the jungle and mysterious labyrinths hidden in the ruins of ancient pyramids, which have analogues in different parts of the planet.

Our program is a single unique one-day itinerary to the most popular temples of Ankor, allowing you to travel by car in a short time between all the sites of the Angkor Archaeological Park at a time when there are the least number of other tourist groups at the sites.

For those who save their time, in a one-day period, we organize a tour of the number of temples equal to the standard three-day program.

This does not occur to the detriment of the quality of the excursion, but by reducing the time of movement between archaeological sites.

Cambodia tours can be organized from any city in Cambodia. Transfer from city to city by car involves many interesting excursions along the road, and an examination of the life and traditions of real Cambodia.

We break up the long car journey with visits to ethnic villages and towns rich in colonial French heritage.

We observe the life of the Khmers in the Mekong Delta and the centuries-old jungle.

All our tours can be changed and adapted at the request of the customer.

9) Angkor Wat, Koh Ker, Preah Vihear - 3 days, 2 nights - adventure tour

Angkor Temple Complex (Small and Large Circle)

Angkor Wat- the largest temple complex in the World. It is based on the Hindu model of the Universe, the center of which is Mount Meru. Angkor Wat is elegantly decorated with 600-meter bas-reliefs depicting Hindu myths and legends, as well as about 2 thousand apsaras, divine dancers.

The most unforgettable sight is the dawn over the towers of Angkor Wat, when the sun rises over the central tower and the entire complex of five towers is reflected in the royal lotus pond.

Angkor Thom At the height of the empire, more than a million people lived in Angkor Thom alone, which is larger than any European city of that time

The French naturalist Henri Mouhot, who discovered Angkor in 1861 after four centuries of oblivion, wrote in his message:

“The monuments of building art that I saw are enormous in size and, in my opinion, are examples of the highest level compared to any monuments preserved from ancient times. I have never felt as happy as I do now in this magnificent tropical setting. Even if I knew that I would have to die, I would never exchange this life for the pleasures and conveniences of the civilized world."

This is a truly grandiose creation of human hands, which we definitely recommend seeing.

Only in the 19th century did Europeans find it and restore it until 1990, when Angkor was taken under UNESCO protection.

But even the remains of the city are stunning in scale - today it occupies 200 sq. km, and on the territory of Angkor you can see about 100 temples and palaces.

Phnom Kulen is considered a holy mountain in Cambodia and the top of the mountain is a sacred place for Hindus and Buddhists who come here as pilgrims.

It is also significant to Cambodians as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire, as it was on Phnom Kulen that King Jayavarman II declared independence from Java in 804. Jayavarman II in the same year introduced the cult of the king, the cult of the linga.

At the top of Mount Kulen is the Temple of the Resting Buddha - Wat Preah Ang Thom.

The main stronghold of the Theravada monks, unconventional healers and sorcerers of Cambodia.

During the excursion to Mount Kulen we will cross the bed of an amazing river. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that for three kilometers, the river bottom is lined with giant stone slabs on which images of the god Shiva, the goddess Lakshmi and thousands of lingas (phallic symbols) are carved. Their creation dates back to the time when immigrants from India appeared on Mount Kulen.

This place was called “River of a Thousand Lingams”.

The water flowing along the bed of this river is considered sanctified by the spirits of love and fertility.

The river of a thousand lingas flows along the top of the mountain and in one place forms a 15-meter waterfall.

At the foot of the waterfall there is a vast reservoir in which we will swim, observing a unique phenomenon created by the spray of the waterfall - a ring of rainbow in the middle of the reservoir.

10) Alternative history and the mystery of Angkor.

The private tour includes visits to new archaeological excavations that began in 2015.

Visit to the current archaeological excavation sites of UNESCO, started in 2015, and the city of Mahendraparvata.

We are the only guides in Cambodia to conduct a tour of these UNESCO archaeological sites

11) Preakhan Kampong Svay, abandoned Angkor temple

One of the non-tourist places ideal for extreme adventure tourism in Cambodia is an abandoned temple, in the middle of the jungle and endless rubber plantations - Preakhan Kampong Svay, the abandoned temple of Angkor. (Prasat Bakan).

There are no paved roads leading to the temple. It is completely overgrown with huge trees and bushes, there are no people there.

The nearest village is 24 kilometers to the southeast

Preakhan Kampong Svay - abandoned temple in Cambodia.

TO as the locals call it, the archaeological complex of the Angkor period, practically not visited by tourists, is located 130 km east of Siem Reap in the southwestern corner of Preah Vihear province, Cambodia.

This complex is one of the largest complexes of buildings, its territory is about 5 km².

Due to the inaccessibility of the complex (there is no road there), it is extremely rarely visited by individual groups of tourists, and there you will wander in silence and complete solitude throughout the entire temple building.

16) Adventures on the islands of Cambodia. Koh Rong Island

Koh Rong Island. Once upon a time in the 18th century, these were misty hills and impenetrable jungles, cut by mysterious bays, sparkling under the moon of the Gulf of Thailand, like real precious sapphires of Kampuchea. Real Malay and Chinese pirates hid here

Koh Rong Island is one of the largest islands of cambodia, located off its western coast. Here they shared smuggled gems and equally valuable spices from Cambodia.

Experts and historians suggest that huge treasures are buried here.

During the war, Koh Rong had fortifications and weapons depots for the partisans. Around the island, the remains of warships still lie underwater, attracting divers from all over the world.

Now Koh Rong is filled with fishing villages and deserted wild beaches with snow-white, soft and cozy sand. The local sand has a certain peculiarity.

It creaks like snow in the cold. It is these pristine beaches that attract tourists with their purity and virginity. Beaches, nature and silence are the main attractions of the island.

Tours to Laos offer stunning nature, green forests, and breathtaking waterfalls.

Laos attracts tourists with its unique historical heritage, ancient architectural monuments and preserved traditions.

The favorable location of the country allows you to organize combined tours in which a visit to Laos is combined with a visit to Thailand and Cambodia.

Individual tours in Cambodia and the countries of Indochina.

17) Ecological tour to Laos. Waterfalls are the energy of life.

We invite you to use the energy of waterfalls to cleanse and restore the vitality of the body on an author’s tour - a week-long journey to the little-explored Bolaven Plateau and Siphandon waterfalls (4 thousand islands) in Laos.

The purpose and meaning of an ecological tour to Laos is to cleanse from negativity everything that is most important to you at the current moment with the clean, energetically and information-charged water of a waterfall running down from the heights.

During the trip, we will experience trekking through the gigantic primary jungle, where a person feels no bigger than an ant, abandoned monuments of the ancient civilization of Angkor, ethnic villages where the forgotten minority peoples of southern Lao live, preserving their familiar, primitive way of life, kayaking on the great The Mekong, which originates on the icy peaks of China.

The modern infrastructure of southern Laos and the conditions that we have organized on this trip will allow you not to experience any inconvenience with a comfortable overnight stay, hot water and local fauna.

And, of course, the most important thing is the waterfalls. They are so beautiful that they resemble the Chinese photo wallpapers that we love to hang on the walls of our homes to improve energy and well-being. Waterfalls of the Bolaven plateau sound their unique music, now closer, now further, throughout the entire journey...
Bolaven Plateau located in the south of Laos. Nearest civilized city (population 17,000) Pakse.

On the plateau there are more than 40 of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, formed over thousands of years as a result of the unique interaction of natural elements - water, stones and atmosphere.

18) Zipline flights over the jungle of the Bolaven plateau

Trekking through the jungle of Champasak province.

Zip line flights over the highest waterfall of the Bolaven plateau!

Mountain climbing trail to the highest point of the plateau.

Our tour “Zipline flights over the jungle of the Bolaven plateau” is one of the most vibrant and extreme adventures in Laos.

During trekking, you will see the most beautiful waterfalls of the Bolaven plateau, which can only be reached on foot through the mountains!

We'll climb up via ferrata to the highest point of the plateau - the top of the four-stage Bang Nga waterfall, 220 m high.

After that, we will descend into the valley using fourteen zipline tracks and four rope canopi bridges!

Overnight at the research base for the study of the flora and fauna of the Bolaven plateau in the primary jungle in tree houses, at an altitude of 50 m from the ground.

The camp itself is located in a beautiful valley surrounded on all sides by high waterfalls in which you can swim!

What is Zipline?

ZipLine– these are several hundred meters of cables stretched above the ground at different heights.

With the help of a special climbing “eight”, to which a roller carriage is attached, you fly over gorges, forests, waterfalls and mountain streams, which gives so much adrenaline that even experienced extreme sports enthusiasts remain completely delighted with the experience.

In addition to flying on a zipline, you will also be able to descend from hundred-meter trees using a simple double belay, jumping into the abyss, suspension bridges consisting of three cables stretched at a height of more than fifty meters and, of course, via ferrata!

21) Protected areas of the Golden Triangle (Northern Thailand).

(Northern Thailand + borderland (Burma + Laos)

One of the amazing places in the world is the legendary Golden Triangle. The borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma meet here.

"Golden Triangle" got its name not because of gold deposits, but because of its unique climatic zone.

Thirty years ago there were endless poppy fields here, bringing the world's largest opium harvest, and heroin brought incredible profits to drug lords.

Nowadays, the opium empire has been destroyed, but the land of Northern Thailand remains - one of the oldest untouched ecosystems on the planet, which has preserved the untouched wealth of tens of millions of years of evolution, and the unique pleasure in the beauty of numerous waterfalls and fast-moving deep rivers.

Swimming in healing mineral springs, traveling on foot and by boat through beautiful jungles, pine forests and giant caves - we offer all this in a new individual tourist program.

The basic program is based on traveling in a comfortable 5-seater jeep.

At your request, we can include in the program a three-day trekking trip along the original route, including a real “tiger trail”, exploration of the karst caves of the Chiang Dao mountain range, with one overnight stay in the jungle and one overnight stay in the mountain tribe village “Lisu” on the border with Burma.

The total trekking length is 18-24 km.

The terrain is mostly rugged. The climbs are low.

Trekking includes hunting, fishing, and cooking in camp conditions.

For overnight stays, individual disposable comfortable campsites are constructed from bamboo and banana leaves.

MORE ABOUT Cambodia:

State in Southeast Asia. It borders on Laos in the northeast, Vietnam on the east and southeast, and Thailand on the west and northwest. In the southwest it is washed by the waters of the Gulf of Thailand (Gulf of Thailand). The territory of Cambodia is 181035 km2. Most of the territory is occupied by the lowlands in the lower reaches of the Mekong River. In the southwest lie the Kravan Mountains, up to 1813 m high. The main river of the country is the Mekong, a tributary of which is the Tonle Sap River. In the dry season, it feeds the Mekong; in the rainy season, the waters of the Mekong replenish the Tonle Sap. In the central part of the country there is also Lake Tonle Sap (Great Lake), which covers an area of about 2,600 km2 in the dry season, and up to 10,400 km2 in the rainy season.
Funan, the first kingdom in temporary Cambodia, emerged in the 1st century. In the 7th century, it was subjugated by the former vassal state of Tonle Sap, and from the 11th to the 13th centuries, the Khmer Empire, which included Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and South Vietnam, was one of the most powerful; powerful in the region. Then the Khmer state began to weaken and after 1620, when the Khmer king Chetta P married a Vietnamese princess, it was actually divided between Vietnam and Siam. In 1863, France intervened in the slow process of partitioning Cambodia between Vietnam and Siam and declared it a protectorate. In 1953 the country gained independence. On April 17, 1975, the Khmer Rouge captured Phnom Penh and Pol Pot's bloody reign began. Almost all city residents were evicted to the countryside, media and money were banned, knowledge of foreign languages was punishable by death. In total, more than a million people were killed during the years of the Khmer Rouge's rule. A peace treaty was signed between the Khmer Rouge and the current government in 1991, but clashes continue, especially in the west of the country. Cambodia is a member of the UN.

Cambodia's CLIMATE: The climate is monsoonal and tropical. The average annual temperature is about 28 degrees. C. The rainy season lasts from mid-April to mid-October.
RELIGION OF CAMBODIAN: Theravada (form of Buddhism) - 95%, Catholicism, Islam, Mahayana.
POPULATION OF Cambodia: 13,363,421
Cambodian CULTURE: Among the country's many attractions are the Buddhist Institute Museum with a magnificent collection of objects from Khmer civilization; National Museum, the earliest exhibits of which date back to the 6th century.

A huge complex of temples, palaces, reservoirs and diversion canals built in the 9th-13th centuries. In Cambodia, this is the most visited place by tourists. In terms of beauty and scope there is simply nothing to compare with, if not in the world then certainly in Southeast Asia.

We immediately forget about walking on foot (the length of only a small circle is about 40 km). The cheapest, but most labor-intensive way, would be a bicycle - rent 0.5-1$ per day, with this choice we do not forget about the distances, heat and lack of parking for bicycles near the temples.

Further, the phrase “all day” will mean 7-8 hours of driving in a small circle, this, as it were, goes without saying and no one talks about it, but for me personally, we will only go for the agreed amount in a small circle, it was an unpleasant surprise. So, if you want to take a ride to distant temples, then arrange this in advance and the prices will differ from those described below.

And so, for those who can easily tolerate the heat or are saving money, the ideal option would be a motorcycle taxi or a tuk-tuk. The cost for the whole day is $8. You can make an agreement either in advance or directly on the day of the trip; there will be plenty of people willing to take you around. In the evening, a bunch of tuk-tuks crowd around the old market.

I used the car almost every time, for the whole day - $20. It is better to negotiate for a car at the hotel, they should receive a commission from the taxi driver, so remember the price and negotiate. Finding a car on your own, just wandering around the city, is problematic.

For people with quirks (and extra money), there are elephants and hot air balloons and helicopters, too.

Guides

Firstly, you need to decide whether a guide is needed in principle? If you are a history buff, or an insecure lady over 40 (although she probably won’t go to Cambodia on her own), then you need a guide; perhaps he will also be useful to the photographer (he will suggest good angles). For others, the need is doubtful, since Angkor itself is such a stunning spectacle that no one is needed.

It’s easy to find an English-speaking guide on the Internet, and it’s even easier to pick one up at Angkor Wat (the first place where they drop you off), there are a bunch of young people there offering guide services. I don’t know how much they are asking (but I don’t think it’s more than $10).

Contact details for Russian-speaking guides:
Kimly, [email protected], +855-123-157-97, +855-997-615-59

Virak, [email protected], [email protected], +855-127-343-10, +855-169-225-32

There is also comrade Sokli, he used to be a guide, now he has his own tour company. Offers various Cambodia tours and guides.

There are also options with Russians permanently residing in Cambodia and providing guide services. For example, Alex with a quite reasonable price tag (from $50 with transport) or Andrey who asks for $80 excluding transport.

The reasonable price for the services of a Russian-speaking guide for the whole day with transport is $50-60, so use that as your guide.

The voice of Asia has been in my blood since childhood. When I was little, I often asked my parents where we lived: in Europe or in Asia - it was important to live in the latter. Europe seemed something cold and alien, but Asia warmed and shone with colorful lights. Many years later. I finished school, then university, and then suddenly, unexpectedly for myself, I found myself in real Asia, in ancient India. And my life changed dramatically.

Thousands of kilometers of Asian roads have been covered, the red dust of which has ingrained itself deeply into the skin. India, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar... Sometimes it seems that I already know everything about these countries, but a moment passes and I discover something new. I want to share this knowledge, but not only it, but also feelings and emotions, because Asia is not only ancient wisdom, it is also a bottomless pool of sparkling smiles, aromas of unknown spices and fabulous flowers, it is a world of wonderful legends and bright colors, ready to receive you into your arms.

Dawn over the pagodas of Bagan in Myanmar?

Sunset at the temples of Angkor in Cambodia?

The secret of the Valley of Jars in Laos?

Lost trails of the Himalayas?

We invite you to visit!

The door is open: you just need to enter.

About 10 years ago I was lucky enough to go on a tour to the Kingdom of Wonders. Buying an ordinary 2-day tour on a quiet Thai street, I had no idea how much it would change my life. Cambodia captured my heart immediately. With the first breath of hot air on this truly mystical land, I realized that I was home. The solution was obvious. Quite quickly, I closed my business in Russia and enthusiastically began to master the profession of a guide on the sacred land. This was easy for me, as my natural curiosity and extensive knowledge of world history helped.

Since then, almost 600 thousand kilometers have been traveled, more than 50 thousand people have been able to see through my eyes the most beautiful place on the planet. For some, these trips became turning points and defining factors in their lives. This is probably the most important result of my work.
During this time I worked for the best travel companies organizing tours throughout Southeast Asia. Unfortunately, modern mass tourism does not allow guests to fully enjoy the beauty and splendor of ancient sights. And it has long been no secret to anyone that the main goal of mass tourism is to squeeze money out of clients in every possible way. I often caught myself thinking that I wanted to give much more, that I could show the country that I love, which I admire and in which I have lived for the last 7 years, from a completely different angle for almost the same money.

Over the years, I have acquired not only historical and cultural knowledge about Cambodia, but also become immersed in the way of life of the local population and, of course, acquired useful connections. It’s hard to imagine what kind of requests my guests came to me with, they were always satisfied with the result.

So if you want to see the Cambodian Kingdom from the inside out, ride through tourist and wild places and temples, feed crocodiles, get a sacred tattoo from a monk and receive his blessing, feel all the power and magic of this country, I will be glad to accompany you on your journey and like no one is ready to make it unique and as comfortable as possible for you.
