How to write an essay on “how I spent my summer.” How I spent my summer: essay for elementary, middle, high school Four sentences on how I spent my summer

Summer is my favorite season of the year. Not because the longest holidays are starting, but because it’s warm. In the summer there are so many opportunities to relax or take a walk somewhere. During my favorite time, I really like to swim and sunbathe. Even in the warm season, I like to ride a bike and play various sports games: football, volleyball. When I had free time, I wanted to write an essay about my favorite summer in my personal diary.

My favorite season has the longest days of the year. And in the north, in the summer, in a city like St. Petersburg, for example, you can observe white nights. I want to visit St. Petersburg and enjoy this warm phenomenon. In summer the nature is very beautiful. Especially sunsets on the warm sea coast, which you can admire for a long time. Watching how the sky at sunset turns from blue-yellow to orange and finally to red, and then how the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon.

In the summer, I like to go on vacation with my parents to the sea, where you can swim in warm water, sunbathe in the sun, play volleyball, football, ride the slides and have fun. Even in the summer season, I like to go to the forest or to a planting, where everything around is green and admire the beauty of nature. My younger brother was asked to write an essay on the topic of summer, and I decided to help him.

Topic: how I spent it

Summer is a warm time of the year and you want to spend it as interesting as possible. So that there will be enough impressions for the whole year. In June, I went on vacation to a camp on the sea coast and wanted to tell you how I spent time there this year. The camp was called Aztecs. Our detachment was large, about 50 people. I rested for 12 days. Every day was planned out. We had four counselors. The rise was at 8 o'clock in the morning. After which we went as a group to the dining room, where a glass of juice was prepared for us. After which at 8:30 all our 10 squads had morning exercises. Before exercise, we ran a warm-up lap. Then we went to our building, where we gathered, cleaned around the room, and at 10 o’clock we all went to breakfast.

After breakfast we went to the sea, where we swam, played volleyball, football, and sunbathed. At 13:00 we went to the building, where we changed clothes and went to lunch at 13:30. After which at 14:00 we began a quiet hour until 16:00. Then we went to the dining room for an afternoon snack, where we were given juice, milk and various buns. After which we went to the sports ground and played football, volleyball and organized various sports competitions.

At 19:00 we had lunch, and after lunch on various days we had discos, watched cartoons, and had various performances prepared by each detachment in the assembly hall. In addition to all this, we had a lot of other interesting things: we dressed up as Indians and walked around the green territory of the camp, went to the movies, and participated in football competitions between squads. We had various clubs and a lot of other things. I really liked it and I want to go to the camp again next year. After arriving home, I told many people how I spent my summer this year.

Essay nature in summer

Nature in summer is indescribably beautiful. I like to walk in parks and squares. Sit somewhere on a bench and enjoy the beauty of the trees dressed in their summer green attire. Listen to the birds chirping.
Most of all, I like to go out of town with my parents on weekends to the forest or to the river, where you can enjoy all the colors of the season. At the beginning of summer, various wild flowers bloom in all the colors of the rainbow in the forest clearings. I like to collect these flowers together with my mother into a large multi-colored bouquet. Butterflies and bees land on the flowers that grow in the meadows.

It can be very hot in summer. The thermometer sometimes shows temperatures above 40 degrees. On days like these, you want the hot season to end as soon as possible and the coolness to come. I noticed that at the beginning of summer the leaves on the trees are light green, in the middle of the season they are dark green, and at the end of summer they lose their rich green color and begin to turn yellow and brown, which indicates the arrival of autumn.

Nature especially transforms in summer, when it starts to rain after long hot days. I especially like blind rain, when the sun is shining and it is raining - it is a very beautiful and interesting natural phenomenon.
It only happens in the summer that the sun was shining, it was hot and there was no sign of bad weather. Suddenly dark clouds appeared, a strong wind blew, which began to raise strong dust from the ground, thunder and lightning appeared, and a few minutes later it began to rain. People who did not have time to hide under the cover literally became so wet in just a few minutes, as if they had just come out of the water. A few minutes after the rain began, water flowed along the roads and sidewalks in large streams, creating large puddles in the lowlands. But an hour later the rain stopped and the sun appeared through a gap in the clouds. After some time, the sky became almost clear, and only the wet ground with large puddles reminded that it had recently rained. Nature in the summer season is very beautiful and diverse.

How I spent summer.

* Another version of an essay from a woman’s perspective: How I spent my summer (editor’s note)

It was an interesting summer. If the first month of vacation was no different from the previous summer holidays, I was in the city, then the next two months turned out to be the most memorable for me, I went to my aunt in the village. It is with the days spent in the village that I associate the most interesting events and vivid impressions of my summer.

In the countryside, time passes slowly and hesitantly, not at all like in big cities. It seems like a whole month has passed, but in reality only one week has passed. Usually, in the morning I help my aunt in the garden, although her morning starts earlier than mine. Our village is far from the village and tap water is an unheard-of luxury, so I take two old iron buckets and go through three houses to the well. The water from the well is incredibly clean and very cold. Sometimes I have to do something around the house, but as soon as the first opportunity arises, I jump over the fence and run to my friends.

I have good friends in the village. We spend almost all our time together. On the hottest days we can sit on the river bank for hours. We swim, frolic and watch the passing barges. Once I got hit by my aunt because I skipped lunch, and in fact I was not hungry. The fact is that my friend Pashka brought a whole bag of potatoes from Uncle Seryozha, and we baked them right in the fire. What a pleasure it is to throw hot potatoes from one hand to the other, and then break them and eat them piece by piece, clearing them of the salty ash. Agree, this is not a plate of ready-made soup. But how much romance and happiness there are of summer days spent, as if in a completely different world!

In the evenings I sat at home in a real wooden hut. Usually, after dinner, friends came to my aunt, they sat for a long time at a large round table in the center of the room and drank tea. I was nearby, climbing onto a large stone stove, and either looked at the books brought from the city, or did nothing, as my aunt often said, “I was kicking my ass.” Although in fact I kept a diary, and, like Robinson Crusoe on a desert island, I made notes, counting down the days until the time when I would be taken to the city.

Sometimes I catch myself thinking that the village is an island far from the city, where life obeys a different rhythm. Maybe because it’s closer to nature here, or maybe it’s just that the cities have become so far removed from real quiet life in the pursuit of technological progress. One way or another, I am a city person and my place is there, in the endless stream of information, but every time I leave this quiet island of calm, I will remember how I spent the summer and miss my village.

« HOW I SPENT SUMMER"

WALK SONIA

Ah, summer! Happy time. It's time for warm days, sunny weather, fruits and vegetables.

I remember last summer with joy. I spent June and July with my great-grandmother Vera in the village. There I woke up very early. But it doesn’t work out any other way in the village. The day there begins with the first rooster crows. My grandmother had a large farm, and I tried to help her: watered the beds, cleaned the house, picked berries, weeded the garden. In our free time, my friend and his dad went fishing. We brought the catch home and fed the cats. I really liked it in the village. I learned a lot and had a good time!

And in August, my parents and I went to the Black Sea in the city of Sochi. I really like the sea! It is so warm and affectionate. I learned to swim, snorkeled and watched beautiful fish. Sun, sea, mountains - all this is unforgettable!

KHALIKOVA FARIDA

I love summer for its beauty and warmth. In summer everything is so beautiful: beautiful flowers, colorful butterflies, amazing insects.

I spent this summer fun and interesting. At the beginning of summer I went to Bashkiria. I swam in the lake and took part in Sabantui games. The visit to the Bird Park was very memorable. There I saw different birds and animals, rode in a carriage, walked along a suspension bridge. I'm looking forward to next summer!

CHERKASHINA DASHA

Summer...what a beautiful word! It was special for me this year because I moved to second grade and became more mature.

I spent the summer at the dacha, where I made many amazing discoveries. One morning I saw an amazing butterfly. She was flapping her huge yellow wings. The long mustache and proboscis were of an unusual shape. We learned that this is a migratory butterfly. And in nature there are amazing beetles whose abdomen glows green in the dark. At night, a family of hedgehogs came to our site: a mother, a father and a small cub. We laid out treats for them in advance, quietly sat down and waited for them to appear. The largest hedgehog sat in the beds under the leaves and watched as the others ate. He was probably protecting his family. During the meal, the hedgehogs munched funny. After dinner, the friendly family went into the forest.

There are so many interesting things nearby! Just look more closely and the world will open to you in all its beauty and diversity.

And now it’s September, the beginning of the school year and new discoveries are ahead!

Many interesting events happened this summer. The most important thing is that we moved to Shchapovo. During the move, I helped my mother and took care of my sister Dasha. I met the guys and now I have many friends.

In the summer I visited different places. We also went to Ukraine. There I read until lunch, learned the multiplication tables, and when the heat subsided, we went swimming at the sea. I especially remember the trip to the Odessa Dolphinarium. We watched the show. Unusual artists performed: dolphins, whales, fur seals. I remember Umka. This is a Navy SEAL. It was very interesting! This is how I spent the summer.

NERSESSYAN AMALIA

I spent this summer on the Black Sea, where we went with the whole family: mom, dad, me and my little sister. The road to the sea is very long and tiring, but when I see it, all fatigue goes away. This year the sea was warm and clean. And one day it started to rain and jellyfish began to swim to the shore. I collected them in a bucket. In the evening we usually went for a walk along the embankment, admiring the sunset and the night sea. We ate ice cream and took pictures with different animals. One day we went on an excursion to the mountains. A fast river flowed in the gorge of high and beautiful mountains. The water in it was cold, but my mother allowed me to swim. There was so much joy and delight!

This summer was very fun and memorable! It's just a pity that it ended so quickly!

GRIGOROVICH SAVVA

I like summer very much! This summer my mother and I went to the zoo. There I saw flamingos, ducks, an elephant and many, many different animals. But most of all I liked the monkey. She is very funny! After the zoo we went to the planetarium, where we watched a film about black holes. It was a little scary!

Back in the summer, I often went fishing and caught fourteen crucian carp. Mom fried the fish and we ate it with pleasure. It was delicious!

Although there was a lot of entertainment in the summer, I did not forget about my studies: I read books and learned the multiplication table. It's a shame that summer is over so quickly!

IMIRZYAN ARMINA

I spent this summer in the village of Shchapovo. I was walking with my friends in the yard, we built a hut and played in it. The older girls taught me how to weave baubles and beaded jewelry. On weekends, my parents and brother and I went to the forest and to the river. We swam and collected shells. Then we ate on the shore and I went into the field to pick flowers. Mom showed me medicinal plants and told me how they are useful for humans. And when the weather was bad, I helped my mother around the house, I even came up with a fruit salad myself and called it “Fruit Explosion.” The rest of the time I studied with my brother (he needs to be prepared for school), I read him the books that were assigned to me for the summer. Summer is great!

GRECHUSHNIKOVA DIANA

I spent my holidays at sea in Feodosia. We went on vacation to Anna beaches in Koktebel and Sudak. I rode on the sea in a balloon, catamaran and on a motor ship. I saw dolphins and sea fish. In the evenings we walked around the city for a long time, buying souvenirs and gifts for friends. The weather was wonderful the entire holiday! I really enjoyed my vacation!

VINITSKY RADISLAV

I spent the summer with my grandmother in the village. I have a lot of friends there. With them I went into the forest to pick mushrooms and berries. We have a big river in our village. My grandmother and I went swimming and sunbathing, and my grandfather fished.

We also have a goat. Her name is Belka. My grandmother and I went to graze her in the meadow, and in the evening she gave us delicious milk. It's good to be in the countryside in summer! It's a pity that the holidays ended quickly.

In my opinion, summer is the most wonderful time of the year, because it is very warm, everything is beautiful around, and we have an excellent opportunity to relax. Summer is also a time of holidays and holidays. We can go anywhere, have a wonderful time by the pond, in the shade of emerald greenery, splash in the warm water. Or you can go to the mountains, ride a bike or play all kinds of games.

The forest was magnificent that day! There was an aroma of flowers, honey and strawberries in the air. Everything around was green, only the tree trunks stood out as bright spots against a dark green background. The birds chirped in their own language, the woodpecker knocked.

Suddenly I heard suspicious sounds... It seemed to me that someone hissed next to me. I turned around and saw... a wriggling snake! I immediately lost my breath. I didn’t even remember what she looked like because I was so scared. I began to slowly retreat and then rushed towards our camp. I decided not to tell my mother about everything that happened, so as not to worry her. A little later, after having lunch and having a lot of fun, we packed our things and went home.

Yes... Time flies very quickly. It’s a pity that it’s impossible to repeat those moments and sensations that you experienced during the holidays. But I believe that next summer will also be unforgettable!

2. Essay on how I spent the summer, 6th grade

Summer is an amazing time. I was looking forward to the holidays with great impatience, and now they have finally arrived.

During the first week of the holidays, I went to an open-air painting with the guys from the art school. We depicted flowers, trees, grass, and much more there. After the open air I went to the village several times. We went there as a family to help our grandparents. Sometimes I stayed in the village overnight. And when I returned home, I visited my girlfriends and went for walks with them.

And then the sultry beach time began. My sister and I went to the beach almost every day, where we swam and sunbathed.

Alas... Summer flew by very quickly! And it's time to go to school again.

3. Essay on how I spent my summer

This summer has been interesting. The first month of vacation was very similar to previous summer vacations, since I stayed in the city. However, the next two summer months turned out to be incredibly interesting for me - I spent them in the village with my aunt. It is with these days spent outside the city that the most striking events and indelible impressions of my summer are associated with me.

Time in the village passes slowly, not at all like in big cities. It feels like a whole month has passed, when in fact it’s only a week. My morning usually starts with helping my aunt in the garden. Our village is located far from the village, and tap water is an unheard of luxury. So I go to the well with two old iron buckets. The water there is stunningly clean and very cold. I also help my aunt around the house, but whenever possible I run to play with my friends.

I have good friends in the village. We spend all our free time together. During the hottest time, we sit for hours on the bank of the river. After a swim, we frolic with all our might and look at the passing barges. One day my aunt gave me a hard time because I didn’t come to dinner. But in fact, I didn’t feel like eating at all, because together with my friend Pashka we were baking potatoes in the fire. It's such a pleasure to transfer hot potatoes from hand to hand, and then break them and eat them piece by piece. Do you agree that this is not a bowl of cooked soup? And most importantly - how much romance and happiness there are in these summer days, spent as if in another world!

I spent summer evenings in a real wooden hut. As a rule, after dinner my aunt was visited by her friends. Sitting at a large round table, they drank tea. And I was hiding on a large stone stove, or looking at books, or “getting my head around,” as my grandmother liked to say. But to tell the truth, I kept a diary, and, like Robinson Crusoe on a desert island, I counted down the days remaining until I returned to the city.

Sometimes it occurs to me that a village is an island remote from the city, and life on it follows a different rhythm. Either because of the proximity to nature, or perhaps simply because large cities, in the endless pursuit of technological progress, have become detached from a calm, measured life. But be that as it may, I am a city person. Which means my place is there. And yet, every time I leave this quiet island of tranquility, I will miss my village.

4. On the topic of how I spent my summer

Summer holidays always bring pleasant experiences. Lessons, school bells and breaks are left behind, and ahead is the expectation of something good.

My sister and I take care of our vegetables. Dill, parsley, sorrel and radishes grow in our green bed. We are happy to water and weed our green bed. And it’s very pleasant to hear the following words from my mother at dinner: “What an amazingly delicious salad your vegetables turned out to be! How smart you are, my girls!”

In the summer there is enough time: you can go for a walk with your girlfriends, go on a visit, and play different games. But most of all I look forward to a trip to the sea with my parents.

I finally learned to swim this summer and I'm very happy about it. I really like the sea. It is so deep and wide, and so mysterious that sometimes it even frightens with its unpredictability.

The sea can be both close and distant, warm and cool. How nice it is to plunge into fresh, cool water on a hot summer day! And swim, dive, splash!

I laid out sea shells on the table. Putting them to my ear, I can hear the sound of the surf. And you can feel the power of the sea wave that flies and hits the stone, throwing a lot of bright salty splashes into my face. I have fun, I laugh with everyone: with my parents, the sea, the sun and the seagulls.

My essay about summer turned out to be the best in the class. So I decided to publish it on the site.

Mini-essay “Summer Vacation”

I want to tell you about my summer vacation at sea. In July, my mother received a long-awaited vacation. I knew that we would go to Crimea, since my mother bought tickets in advance, and counted the days until this joyful event. And so we went on a trip to the Black Sea. We traveled to the city of Simferopol by train, and from Simferopol to Yalta by a comfortable bus. Almost the entire way I looked out the window and admired the wonderful expanses of our country.

When we approached, it became noticeably warmer. We settled in one of the best hotels in Yalta - "Oreanda". I really liked that it is located in the city center, right on the seashore. So we even enjoyed the picturesque view of the Yalta embankment from the window. Every day my mother and I swam in salty sea water and sunbathed on the beach.

We ended our vacation with an interesting trip on a boat. Sitting on the deck, we did not take our eyes off the fabulously beautiful shores of the Black Sea.

The story “How did I spend my summer?”

Summer day on the lake

This summer my parents and I visited my grandfather in the village. The nature there is very beautiful, there is a forest and a lake. For our arrival, my grandfather bought an inflatable rubber boat. You can ride on it on the lake and fish. My dad and I have been dreaming about this for a long time.

After having breakfast on the way, we went to the lake. Barbos, Grandfather's faithful watchdog, was with us. Reeds grew on the shore of the lake. A pair of white swans swam gracefully in the reeds. We couldn't help but admire these graceful creatures with beautiful long necks. Me, dad, grandpa and the dog Barbos got into the boat. There were slight ripples on the lake. The water is so clean that it is even transparent. We sailed on a boat and saw the entire bottom at a depth of several meters. Variegated pebbles, river sand, and algae were visible. The fish at the bottom were moving in a herd.

Dad and grandfather worked with the oars, and the boat quickly moved forward. The dog did not take his eyes off the water. Grandfather said that Barbos loves to ride on the lake and even knows how to swim. The air was clean and fresh. The sun warmed it tenderly. A light breeze was blowing. How nice it was in the boat!

We moored to the other side of the lake. There was a good beach there. While grandpa was fishing, dad and I swam and sunbathed on the shore. The water was warm, so it was very pleasant to swim. Grandfather was happy about the good bite. He often stood up and pulled the fishing line, pulling fat perches into the boat.

In the evening we prepared fish soup from fresh fish. Grandfather suggested putting the cauldron on the fire, which gave the fish soup a captivating aroma and delicious taste.

Summer walk in the forest

The next day we went into the forest. It smelled of pine and mushrooms. The lush grass underfoot gave off an emerald shine. Birds chattered chatteringly above our heads. It is interesting to watch the life of the summer forest. Here is a squirrel busily scurrying around a pine tree. Various insects swarm in the grass. Rooks are busy in the trees near their nests. Somewhere in the distance a cuckoo is calling.

We collected two buckets of mushrooms and went out to the edge of the forest. There we met a moose cow with a calf. When they saw us, they hurried to run away. I saw a grass snake on an old stump. At first I mistook him for a snake and was scared, but my grandfather calmed me down. He explained that the bite no longer poses a danger to humans. Walking along a narrow path, we came out to thickets of bushes. Raspberries and wild strawberries grew there. This year turned out to be a berry year. The incredible aroma and unusually sweet taste of wild berries is unforgettable! You can’t buy these in the city for any money... Unable to resist the temptation, we ate strawberries straight from the bush. Raspberries were also visible and invisible, just pick them off. It’s just a pity that raspberries have nettles as their friends. It is so high and burning that you cannot reach the ripest berries. We found a bush where there were fewer nettles and took home three baskets of large, fragrant berries.

This is where our story comes to an end. The sun had set, but it was still light. A little tired, but happy, with our hands full of generous forest gifts, we returned to the village.

My dad and I liked the summer forest so much that we started going there almost every day. One day we were caught in the forest by rain. In the city in such weather there is dirt, but in the forest the earth greedily absorbs moisture. It seems as if all the trees are washing themselves at the same time. They are covered with raindrops that fall to the ground with every movement. But the downpour did not last long. Soon the clouds cleared and the gentle sun came out. In the light of the sun's rays, the forest turned bright green and burned with diamond sparks. Indescribable beauty!

I really liked how I spent my summer. I am glad that I came to the village, visited the lake and the forest. I hope that my parents and I will be able to stay with my grandfather next year.

Essay describing a forest in summer

Description of the summer forest

Summer is the most picturesque and generous time of the year. Where else, if not in the forest, can you relax your soul, recharge your energy and enjoy the beauty of diverse forms of life! It is for this reason that on fine summer days I like to spend there from dawn to dusk.

There is nothing more beautiful than contemplating nature awakening after the night. A huge crimson sun appears in the sky. Wide stripes of light, bathing in the dewy grass, stretching, lie on the ground. Silver wormwood, yellow rapeseed, cornflowers - all this is joyfully colorful, mistaking the light of the sun for its own smile.

Birds chirp loudly, carried away by their troubles. Here and there you can hear the calling squeak of voracious chicks, hungry during the night. A funny squirrel is quickly scurrying around a pine tree. What a hard worker she is! By burying cones in secluded places, the nimble animal makes provisions for the winter. He knows that it won’t always be summer and takes care of his food in advance.

How quickly time flies in the forest! The scorching sun had already risen high in the sky. The midday heat spread over the earth. But in the dense coniferous forest there is always a pleasant coolness. Insects swarm in the soil, beetles and butterflies fly past. A knock is heard. The forest doctor is always busy. From afar you can hear the cuckooing of the forest fortuneteller - the gray cuckoo. In the tall grass, corncrakes scream without rest.

My walk through the summer forest

After wandering through the thicket of the forest, I head towards the bushes. A small tubercle is completely covered with pale-faced, blossoming blueberries. The green pimples of future blueberry berries produced barely noticeable gray blades of petals. They will crumble unnoticeably. Then the berry will begin to enlarge, turn purple, and turn blue. Finally, it will turn black with a grayish coating. Blueberries are delicious when ripe. And the hospitable summer forest shares its generous gifts with everyone.

A large black stump collects the rays of the sun and becomes very hot. Six small lizards crawled out of the swamp and clung to the warmth.

The summer day is long, but here, among the beauty of the forest, it passes unnoticed. You look, and the sun is already setting below the horizon. The last rays burn like crimson spots on the tree trunks. One after another, the honored forest singers - the nightingales - fall silent.

The dark night is coming. The moon shines mysteriously on the forest surrounded. Night grasshoppers chirp. Bats fly silently in search of food. Hidden forest streams gurgle faintly. They smell like fragrant night violets. A new, special nightlife begins.
