The ratings of the most beautiful cities in the world are compiled by many (from ordinary bloggers to the famous Forbes magazine). They are all a little subjective, but nevertheless there are a number of cities that are most often called the most beautiful in the world.

The severity and certain dullness of the buildings of the Northern capital with a harsh climate is diluted with architectural idleness, which takes you back several centuries. Once upon a time, lovers walked along these wide pavements, deciding the eternal question - to be or not to be. A cold river, in whose waters reflected rays of hope and treacherous betrayals, more than one brilliant work was inspired by harsh gusts of wind. Today's St. Petersburg is dynamic, modern, in a hurry to follow all the trends of the time, but, as always, the imperial city only slightly allows itself to be touched by the brush of innovation, its aristocratic foundation remains unshakable.

In Venice, the most romantic public transport is gondolas. Built on islands, Tokyo includes a whole host of self-governing districts. Polite and friendly at first glance, the Japanese do not allow strangers into their world. But they will be happy to help you evaluate a huge, successful metropolis. The visiting card of the capital of Japan is the Tokyo Tower, on the observation deck of which you can admire the bay or the panorama of the bustling nightlife of the city for a long time. Among modern skyscrapers, in the very center is the imperial palace, where the current monarch and his family still live today.
