Legoland, Denmark

Tour program

Day 1. Copenhagen

You will visit the Legoland park. The park's schedule varies, it opens at 10:00 and closes at 18:00, 19:00 or 20:00. LEGO park built on the territory Jutland, it is 230 kilometers from Copenhagen. The park was founded in 1968 by the inventor of the designer Gottfred Christiansen. Now it is one of the largest European amusement parks. Everything here is made of LEGO bricks: models of streets, buildings, landmarks and squares of European and American cities. There is a whole world of themed rides here: based on Star Wars, stories about pirates or racing drivers. In the canyon, you can wash "gold" and get a "gold" medal for it.

Overnight at the hotel in Legoland.

Day 4. Legoland

You can spend the whole day in Legoland or only half, leaving the second for an additional four-hour excursion to Givskud Zoo or interactive park Legohouse.

Givskud located 30 minutes by car from Legoland. This is a safari park where children can walk in the company of giraffes, rhinos and zebras freely moving around the territory. There are other wild animals there, not limited by the perimeter of the cages. Also, kids can play on the playground or test their courage in the rope park.

Interactive Legohouse Museum after 7 years of construction, finally opened its doors to visitors. This is a real LEGO paradise! 12,000 square meters, which housed 12 million designer parts. Real houses, works of art, and other furnishings are built from it. Lego fans from all over the world come here to find themselves inside their dreams. Constructor fans create buildings, cars, trees and characters from their favorite games. You can also join this process: visit the creative laboratory, where LEGO instructors will help you create new heroes from the constructor or the blue zone - here you can create a city project, invent a robot, or even arrange a test drive for a car created by yourself. The LEGO History Museum will tell you how the designer, beloved by millions of people, appeared and developed.

You will spend the night at the Legoland hotel.

Day 5. Legoland - Copenhagen

When breakfast is finished at the hotel, the transfer will take you from Legoland to Vejle train station. From there you will travel to Copenhagen (Central Station) by high-speed train. Upon arrival, you can plan the rest of the day yourself: spend it on your own or go on an optional five-hour tour of castles in north zealand.

During the tour you will see the most beautiful castles in Europe: Fredensborg, Frederiksborg and Kronborg(visual inspection).

First you will go to the summer royal residence - Fredensborg Castle or "Castle of the World". It was erected by King Frederick IV in honor of the end of the bloody Great Northern War. Since then, generations of Danish monarchs have rested here in the warm season.

After that, you will visit Frederiksborg Castle. Its history begins in the distant 1560: King Frederick acquired three natural islands and built his first hunting castle here. Later, the son of the founder, the famous Christian IV, was born in Frederiksborg, who later became one of the greatest Danish kings. Christian almost completely rebuilt his father's castle, turning it into a beautiful palace in the style of the Dutch Renaissance. The castle had to play a big role in the history of the kingdom: absolute monarchs were “married to the kingdom” here, the ceremony took place in the castle church, saw the fortress and the presentation of the “Order of the Elephant” - the highest royal award, and the famous feast that King Frederick arranged for his worst enemy - king of neighboring Sweden.

Kronborg Castle gained its fame after Shakespeare wrote the famous tragedy about Hamlet. It is now often referred to as "Hamlet's castle at Elsinore". For centuries, Kronborg served as a fortress and a royal palace, as well as a barracks and a prison. This is due to the favorable position of the castle: in the narrowest part of the strait. The width of the water barrier is only 4 kilometers: from such a distance, the outlines of Sweden are clearly visible from the castle.

Back to Copenhagen you will follow the famous Danish Riviera. Along the way, you can get to know the towns Niva and Lyngby, stops are planned at observation platforms of these settlements.

It's time to go to the world of an amazing fairy tale for children and adults: see castles and cities built from millions of LEGO bricks, dress up in knightly costumes, walk around the kingdom, where the child is the main character. This is exactly what a real family vacation should be: interesting, bright and memorable. Did you fly?

LEGOLAND in Denmark- the most popular place after Copenhagen and the most unusual amusement park for children from 1 to 90 years old. It is said to have taken over 46 million LEGO bricks to build. Surely here you can find your 56! If you suddenly do not know, we inform you: as a resident of the Earth, you are entitled to 56 LEGO bricks. This is how much everyone gets if they divide all the bricks produced by LEGO over the 60 years of its existence.

A camera, sunglasses, a pirate sword, and a princess crown are a must for anyone planning a trip to LEGOLAND (and if you forgot, they will sell you at exorbitant prices at the entrance). Get ready for the fact that it will drag on for at least half a day. During this time, you can have a nice fight with filibusters, assemble a robot, find gold, get your first driver's license, put out a fire, get to the Pole. How fast does a dragon fly?

What, you didn't fly? By the way, 40 km/h! God knows what, of course, but what do you require from an ancient lizard? He lives in a royal LEGO brick castle as big as two football fields! And if you climb the highest tower of the castle (6 floors!), you can see the entire LEGOLAND park in Denmark from it. It is divided into pieces like a pie.

DUPLO Land was designed for the little ones, and that's why even the paths here are soft! But older guys often drop in here - to learn at the children's driving school Toyota Traffic School. If you still don't have photos like "Me and the Statue of Liberty", go to Miniland, where almost all the sights of the world are built in miniature. You can't drag adults away!

Holidays in Legoland can be not just entertainment, but also a peppy brainstorming session. In the World of Imagination, they watch 5D movies, try out new LEGO toys and program robots themselves.

And in Legoredo, you can finally make your dream come true and meet the leader of the Redskins! Or try on the sheriff's star, go down the waterfall in a canoe and mint gold coins from the gold you just found! If you dream of real treasures, look for them in the Land of Pirates. And don't forget the sword! In 2019, a trip to Legoland promises to be especially exciting. What are the extreme rides in the Land of Adventures, but this has never happened before! You will be offered to go to the Pole itself, and not just like that, but by falling through the ice right into the cave with polar bears.

The park itself is located in the small town of Billund, from where it is easy to get to the Danish capital. Therefore, you can visit Copenhagen and Legoland at once, combining entertainment for children and an excursion program. Another way to diversify your vacation is to stay in Lalandia apartments and thus get a free pass to the water park of the same name. Or you can choose a themed Legoland hotel in Denmark. It is located across the street from the park and is actually a fun continuation of it with a lot of pleasant surprises for guests.

Moreover, Legoland will be replenished in 2019 the new themed Castle Hotel. Here, every child will be welcomed by its fabulous inhabitants - princesses of extraordinary beauty, fearless knights, wise sorcerers. A definite plus will be the proximity to the entrance to the famous amusement park.

In the park you do not have to worry about food. Each LEGOLAND zone has its own kitchen. Do you want a medieval lunch in the castle, or do you want pizza or sandwiches from the buffet.

If the kids don't take you to fight the pirates, don't worry. You can always find out about the whereabouts of your child using the Kidspotter service (a radio bracelet for a child + a special map for you). There are a plethora of stores in LEGO Land that sell everything from lollipops to princess outfits to fossil collections that are designed to ruin parents.

And of course, it's completely unforgivable to buy a Legoland tour and come home without LEGO. So feel free to go to the largest LEGO store, where the legendary bricks and amusing details are sold by weight. You need 56, you say? Kilogram?

It is not so difficult to visit the Magic Kingdom: you just need to choose the tour to Denmark that suits you - and you are already in Andersen's homeland.
Denmark is a small country, the journey will not take many days. Compiling and planning tours to Denmark from Moscow, we recommend some particularly interesting routes:

Tours in Copenhagen

On every tour of Denmark, you will meet a charming Little Mermaid. And if you want to feel the spirit of royal life, you should visit the palaces of Amalienborg and Rosenborg. No tour to Denmark is complete without a walk along Europe's longest pedestrian street, Strøget, and the picturesque Nyhavn promenade.
It is better to stay in the old town, where most of the sights of Copenhagen are located.
For those who have already traveled around Europe, excursion tours in Denmark somewhat reminiscent of Holland. Therefore, we offer you interesting tours to Copenhagen-Amsterdam for adults and children. All the same canals, wet wind from the sea, bicycles, multi-colored houses pressed against each other ...

Leisure plus gastronomic tours

The "royal" tour of the Danish capital can be completed with a visit to cozy cafes on Amagertorv Street or Kongensnitorv Square. Here, the famous "smorrebrod" - a complex sandwich - is served as specialties.
The Danes prefer meat cuisine. Among the capital's restaurants are famous for:

  • "Cap Horn" on Nyhavn Street;
  • the legendary "Noma" in the old port quarter;
  • Nimb at the Tivoli amusement park.

Buy a children's tour to Denmark - Legoland

The town of Billund is especially popular for family holidays. The most beloved tours to Denmark by children lead here - a tour to the country of "LEGO".
More than 45 million LEGO bricks have been used to build panoramic replicas of all the famous corners of the world. Here you willy-nilly feel like Gulliver: it is worth taking a step, and family vacation will be transferred to the country of cowboys, to an Indian fire or to the dragon's castle.

Tours to Denmark - to castles and islands

To complete the impressions, we suggest you visit the numerous islands - Lolland, Funen or Bornholm, where several beautiful castles and estates of the 16th century are located. Now these are prestigious holiday destinations that are included in many tours around Denmark.
The sea in Denmark “follows” you everywhere, so relaxing on sandy beaches and walking along the chalk cliffs of the islands is “strongly recommended”.
Having been in one of tours in Denmark, it becomes clear why great fairy tales appeared to the world right here!
